assignment 10 - Lia Jacobs - when the zombies come, we meet at costco

Zombie movies have been produced for over a decade, and while they're entertaining, the amateurs in those movies are not nearly as prepared as I am. My zombie apocalypse procedure has been planned out ever since we began our wonderful Costco membership. Well, if I'm being honest the plan is kind of simple: drive to Costco, get inside as fast as I can, then blockade the doors and live out my days in bulk quantity paradise. Since the plan is quite basic, I'll explain why I chose this store as my desired place of refuge. First of all, it is full of practically every item you can imagine, including enough food to sustain everybody for a long time. It already has a kitchen, so cooking food would be easy too. There's also mattresses, a pharmacy, usually clean bathrooms, water fountains, entertainment, and the list goes on and on. Aside from the material goods it possesses, Costco would probably contain a good assortment of people for surviving the zombie apocalypse. There's already guaranteed to be pharmacists and cooks because they work there. But, given the large variety of shoppers that Costco attracts, there's likely to be people with all kinds of useful skills who would be in there at the time of the disaster. This would be helpful when trying to end the zombie infestation because contrary to what it may seem, Costco does not have everlasting supplies. However, I'm sure there is some flaw in my plan. Honestly, if that's true, I'd be happy to spend my last days at Costco.
