I don't think selling yourself to your roommate is a good idea because even if you only tell them the traits you want them to know about, they are going to find out about the other ones at some point. If you are upfront about who you are and what you are like then you will both know if the other person is the right person to be roommates with. I would want them to know that I listen to a lot of music and that they are going to have to listen to it too. It's preferable that they share my music taste because I don't want to be listening to something that gives me a headache. I am not a very organized person. I lose things all the time and lose other people's things too if I borrow them. I’m usually a nice person unless someone does or says something they shouldn’t have. I want my roommate to be similar to me so that we become friends easily because I don’t want to live with someone who I don’t like. They should like to have fun and be chill. People that take things too seriously get on my nerves.
