Assignment 14 - Delaney Staley - Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, we do not do much to really celebrate besides eat. We make food and then sit at the table with my whole family. Some years we spice things up and have seafood instead of the usual turkey and such but this year we did not. I enjoy the holiday because I like having a break from school but it is not painfully long to where I miss my friends. I would say my best memory of Thanksgiving is when we celebrated it in Virginia where my aunt lives and we just went out to dinner and then went ice skating right after. I was like 9 at the time and the place was packed so I almost died multiple times. After that, we went Black Friday shopping in one of the busiest malls in the country near D.C. and it was absolute mayhem but I still had a good time.
