Assignment 14 - Justin Zhu
I obviously love Thanksgiving, food is always good and everyone loves an extra break. However, since both my parents are from China, we don't really have any family traditions concerning the holidays. Most of the time my family and I will participate in a Thanksgiving dinner/party with members of our church. This has been the norm for most of my life, as my parents don't really have a taste or an idea of how to make traditional Thanksgiving food. I don't particularly dislike them, but often there aren't a lot of kids my age and it's mostly targeted toward the adults. Because of this, I enjoy living vicariously through my friends as they describe their own Thanksgiving traditions. This year however, my brother and I were invited to a Thanksgiving brunch with the Reynolds. We've known the Reynolds for the first time but this is the first time I had a Thanksgiving brunch with them. I enjoyed the food a ton and had a great time spending time with them.
