blog post 12 - Jake Waits

In order to get to know someone and sell myself to them, I try to act genuine and nice off the bat as to not seem fake and untrustworthy. Trust and honesty are the two biggest parts of any type of relationship, especially with a friend. Because if you each trust each other you'll be less likely to lie to each other. I would say my personality is relaxed, fun, openminded, and ambitious. I would want my college roommate to know that while I do slack off on somethings I'm very hardworking when I choose to be. I'm also one to chill with friends and relax so I'm always up for a good time. Another thing about me is that I enjoy time to myself whether that be hiking, walking my dog, or exercising I like to take a break from my social life just to relax and think. I'm hoping that in college my roommate and I get along well and even if we don't I hope there is still mutual respect between us.
