I find this blog post assignment comical as college is the incorrect choice. I am not sure if I will be submitting a college application on October 15, 2020. I have no ideals except to hit the word count for this blog post. College seems to me like a complete waste of money, yet is seen now as a requirement to even get a basic, low-paying job though you will drown in student debt for the rest of your life. Unless you are pursuing a high career, some jobs simply don't need the 4-year experience that college brings to educate you. For example, religious workers have no need for a college degree when they can simply apprentice and gain the experience they need to properly work for their religious cause. Also, if you start your own business, there are plenty of books talking about how to successfully start one without having to pay 20K a year for four years just to get the same information.
While college isn't far away, I would like to have time to think about the fun things rather than the amount of money the government can hold over my head.
