I sit next to Juliann and Conor, but sadly I really don't know much about them. They likely don't know much about me either, and that's probably mostly my fault. Since I've known Juliann longer, I'll start with her.
I've known Juliann since 6th grade, and we've ended up getting seated next to each other quite often due to our alphabetical proximity. Though we've never really talked much, I feel like I have a decent sense of who she is as a person. She is very unapologetically herself, and I mean this in the best way possible. It's something most people can't say about themselves. The best example of this that I can think of is her enormous collection of pens that I see in her backpack nearly every day. I'm not talking 10 or 20, it seems like hundreds. This year, we sit next to each other in three classes and every time I see her writing it's in a different wild color. If Juliann was a color, she'd be tie-dye because there always seems to be a bit of chaos in her life. There are many things about Juliann that make her a very unique person, and even though we don't talk often, sitting next to her often makes classes more entertaining.
For Conor, I'm afraid I know even less. Freshman year is kind of a blur at this point, but I'm pretty sure I first met him in our biology class. Most of what I know about Conor revolves around our occasional interactions in this class. I know he's part of JROTC, and it seems like for the most part he enjoys it. What I know of his personality is also solely based on our in-class interactions. Like Juliann, he likes to say what's on his mind, and often volunteers to speak in class, something I cannot say for myself. He's also outgoing and loves to talk to other people. If Conor was a color, I'd say that he is orange. I don't know why, but for some reason that color suits him and his personality well.
All in all, even though I don't know either of my neighbors very well, I enjoy sitting next to them. They're both genuinely nice people who make this class more enjoyable.
