blog post 14 - Jake Waits

My normal thanksgiving is like any other day until around two when the food is finished cooking and my family sits down to eat. After I would eat I would usually watch fifteen minutes of football and then go to take a nap and let my food settle. This year though my mom had different plans as she decided to my surprise we would have thanksgiving with some family friends in Bardstown. This was not an ideal thanksgiving for me as there would be no one there my age except my sister and we don't get along the best. In all actuality, the change of plans wasn't too bad except for the fact I had to talk to older guys after eating while watching football. The conversations weren't that memorable but as the guys drank more and more "punch" the conversations got louder and more amusing for me. While this years thanksgiving was different I still spent good time with my family and relaxed.
